Maxine Chouinard Obituary

MANCHESTER - Maxine L. (Nute) Chouinard passed away on Jan. 7, 2015, at Hillsborough County Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.

Born on Jan. 21, 1929, she was the daughter of Percy and Mildred Nute.

She was a lifelong resident of Manchester and graduated from Manchester Central High School. She retired from Verizon after 44 years of service.

Maxine is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles Chouinard; two daughters and their husbands, Gail Timbas and Billy Timbas of Manchester, and Carol Kelliher and Dave Kelliher of Goffstown; a son, Gregg Chouinard, and his wife Anne Chouinard of Goffstown; grandchildren Jeffrey Timbas, Alexandra Timbas, Christopher Kelliher, Patrick Kelliher, Shauna Troy, Kaylee Chouinard and Cameron Chouinard. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to acknowledge special thanks to the staff of A-1 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home and Home Health and Hospice for their loving care and kindness to Maxine.

SERVICES: A calling hour at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, will be Monday, Jan. 12, from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a memorial service in the funeral home chapel. Urn burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Maxine's memory may be made to either the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire, 545 State Route 101, Bedford, 03110; or donate online in her memory to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
