Thanks Dad for your dedication to your family and to God. Your life showed us that the three most important things in life are faith, hope and love, but when we stand back and look at the tapestry of your life, the picture clearly shows that the greatest of these is love. Thanks for living a life of love and for pointing us to the true source of life and love. We can't wait for the big celebration when we all get to join you in heaven. What a day of rejoicing that will be!

It was an honor to get to know Rev. Klose. I was fortunate to meet him through Clint, beginning with his time in Sanbornton. He was a kind and caring person who when you spoke to him, you knew he was listening and caring about what you said. My wife Peggy & I had our 2nd date with Clint, Sue, Rev Klose & his wife and Sue's parents. We had a great game night and I remember when we were leaving, Rev Klose pulled me aside and let me know Peggy seemed like a great girl! 15 years of marriage later, his words were so true!!!
Our thoughts and prayers to all who loved this man-He was such a reflection of Christ! We know he is enjoying his eternal reward!!!! Praise God for his life!!!

As a hospice volunteer, I met Dr. Klose in the last few months of his life when I sat with him on Sunday mornings. Although I try to remain very open when I enter any new Hospice situation, there is always a bit of anxiety, I suppose, in the act of meeting someone new at this very personal time in his or her life. So I didn’t know what to expect the first time I knocked Dr. Klose’s door.
What an inspiration it was then when the first words this gentle man said to me were “The Lord sure has blessed me throughout this life.” We sat and talked for the next couple of hours, and I’ve never been so closely drawn to another person so quickly. Though I didn’t get to spend nearly enough time with Dr. Klose, his graciousness, gratefulness, and love have touched me deeply, and I will remember him always and be forever grateful that I met him. This gentle and sincere soul was a profound witness for God’s love. I still wonder if Dr. Klose was so grateful because he was so blessed, or if he was so blessed because he was so grateful. That’s something to think about.

Christendom has lost a giant. This was a godly man of profound faith and unswerving faithfulness to the God and Savior he so passionately lived for. He knows in reality now what he pursued by hope throughout his life and we are left indelibly marked by the legacy he leaves behind.
A doctor of the Scriptures, a physician of the heart, a shepherd of the flock and an instrument by which my wife and I came to trust Christ, follow Him in baptism and covenant in marriage...praise God for sending Pastor Paul into our lives.
May God's grace sustain the Klose family during this time of profound loss.

My memories are of a very long time ago, back when Carol and I were in grade school together. I well remember the days of going to Sunday School at the Bethany Baptist Church in Presque Isle, Maine, where Dr Paul was the Pastor. I was devastated when they left to go to North Adams as they were like a second family to me. What a long and wonderful life Dr. Paul had. He loved and was well loved by so many people in return. God Bless.

My heart is broken, and I miss Dad so much, but am so grateful he is with the Lord, rejoicing and free from his earthly body. I am deeply thankful for his life of faithfulness, full of love, compassion, humility and joy! He touched countless lives over the years, and continued doing so even in his final days on earth. What a giant of a man he was. I am confident that the Lord has said to him, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant. Paul".
What a joy and blessing to be one of his children; my life is so rich because of Dad.
Now life goes on, and let us all live the love that Dad lived...one which walked in the footsteps of Jesus.
"I love you, Dad, and thank you for everything, which is more then any pen could ever tell!"
