Richard Barrett Obituary

Richard W. Barrett 71, of Goffstown, NH, took his last breath on April 22, 2024, surrounded by his family and many of his loved ones. He was the son of Richard T. and Ruth (Gingras) Barrett of Candia, NH.

Rick loved spending time with his family and friends at our many gatherings, enjoyed helping anyone with projects and was considered as "a jack of all trades, master of none" who loved to share his knowledge. Other hobbies were his love for cars, bowling and being outdoors where he enjoyed playing horseshoes, hunting, and fishing.

Rick worked for the NH Department of Transportation moving through the ranks, spending many winter hours away from his family, where he retired as a Maintenance Supervisor after 35 years. Rick was an amiable and kindhearted man who quickly gained a wide circle of friends and acquaintances throughout his life and career. He will be greatly missed and remembered for his big smile, kind heart, friendly personality, and his eagerness to always help everyone.

Rick is survived by his wife Linda (Levesque) Barrett of 48 years, daughter Stephanie Beaudoin and her husband Raymond and Granddaughter Krista, Sister Joan Poulicakos and her husband Paul; as well as many nieces and nephews, friends, and family.

If you would like to honor Rick, please consider donating in his memory to the American Heart Association or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
