Richard Muhlhauser Obituary

Richard P. Muhlhauser, 97, died on July 4, 2017 at Sanctuary Care at Rye. He was born on July 11, 1919 in Stuttgart, Germany, the son of the late Paul and Pauline (Edelmann) Muhlhauser. A resident of Fremont since 1985, he grew up in Madison, NJ and was a former longtime resident of Georgetown, MA. A graduate of the Casey Jones School of Aeronautics, he was employed for 44 years at Eastern Airlines before retiring in 1984 as the Superintendent of Quality Control for the Northeast. He loved travelling and camping with his late wife Shirley (North) Muhlhauser who died in 2011, and also enjoyed many activities including bowling, bridge, and golf.

He is survived by his son Paul H. Muhlhauser of Fremont, NH; three daughters, Carol A. Hoyt and her husband William of Merrrimac, MA, Nancy K. Mulhauser of Newton, NH, and Sandra S. Katsaros and her husband Paul of Kingston, NH; two grandchildren Geoffrey Hoyt of Quincy, MA and Aili Hoyt of Merrimac, MA.
