I had the honor of caring for Rita for an all too short period of time. I pained me to leave her and the others behind as I moved south with my family but I have very fond memories of her. Cracking jokes at the dinner table, and captivating me and the others with tales from her youth. I'll miss her terribly. She was one of a kind.
