Robert Connolly Obituary

Bob, age 76, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, after a short illness. Bob was a cherished brother and a beloved friend to many in places he lived and/or worked: Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, Maine and Minnesota.

He was born July 8, 1949, to Margaret (Connolly) and Robert G. Bressett, the oldest of four children. He graduated from Manchester Central High School and the Vocational-Technical College.

He worked over 40 years for the phone company in multiple states converting its analog system into today's modern day computerized system. He enjoyed his work so much that he came out of retirement in North Las Vegas to work some more. The only things he loved more was his long-time companion, Dolly Rand, and his many cats, especially, Mongo.

Bob is survived by his sister, Ann (Bressett) Nistler and predeceased by his parents, sister Barbara (Bressett) Christ, brother William Bressett, and his beloved Dolly Rand.

Bob will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. We look forward to when we will see him again. (John 5:28) A celebration of life was held at Harrison Village Cemetery, Maine on August 29, 2025.

Yesterday

Bobby worked on my crew for several years in the late 90s. He was an excellent tech and always fun to work with. We used to have fun get togethers after work with special dinners prepared at the Asian restaurant across the street from Perimeter Road in Manchester. When we retired Bobby said he wanted to change light bulbs in Las Vegas. Sounds like he might have. Rest in peace sweet man. You are well remembered.
