Robert Dutton Obituary
He was born on February 27th 1947 to George Dutton Sr. and Mary Maher Dutton.
Robert was born in Boston Massachusetts and would eventually settle in Manchester, NH. He graduated from Manchester Central High School and later served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Upon his return Robert met the love of his life Gisele Henri to whom he married on September 17th 1971 and went on to raise three loving sons. To Robert, family was above all else. He was so proud of his sons that he and wife Gisele raised, Corey, Michael, and Patrick; thrilled for each of them and their loving wives to have blessed the family with six amazing grandchildren.
Robert was a long-time employee of Verizon. Following his retirement he enjoyed golf, cross-word puzzles, lunch with his friends, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. A family tradition adored by Robert was playing games of Dice with family and friends.
In his later years, Robert was at his happiest when at the ballpark watching his grandchildren playing sports and at home playing patient to the grandkids. As a true Boston native Robert was a devoted fan of its sports teams.
Robert's likability was infectious, allowing so many to be able to count him as a true friend. He was incredibly giving and loving, an all-around fantastic human being. To say he'll be missed is a disservice - his loss is immeasurable - departing far too soon.
Robert is survived by his wife Gisele Dutton; sons Corey Dutton and his wife Laura of Milford, NH; Michael Dutton and his wife Phaly of Woodbridge, Virginia; and Patrick Dutton and his wife Cindy of New Boston, NH; grandchildren Ryan, Nadia, Owen, Charlotte, Samuel, and Gisele; sister Carol Garfield of Manchester, NH; brother Jeffrey Dutton of Manchester, NH and many extended family members and friends. Robert was pre-deceased by his brothers George Dutton Jr. and Francis Dutton.
A celebration of Robert's life will be held on Friday April 15th from 9am to 11am at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. A Military funeral will be held following the celebration at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.

I'm so sorry to read of Bobby's passing. I can't stop thinking of all the great times I had with him on and off the golf course. Bobby was one heck of a good golfer and a great friend. But more than that he was such a wonderful man. He handled all the adversity that was thrown at him with such grace and dignity. I will never forget you my old friend. Rest in peace.

My deepest sympathies for your loss. Bob was a mentor to me any many that came before me. Most of my greatest memories at Verizon were due to Bob. He was one of the funniest people I've ever met and I am very
sad he is gone. He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed.
