Robert E. Gobin Jr.

Robert (Bob) E. Gobin, Jr., 79, of Goffstown, NH, passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 9, 2025.

Born in Claremont, NH, Bob was the son of Robert and Esther (Sorento) Gobin, who predeceased him. He graduated from Weare High School in 1963 and dedicated over 30 years of service to Anheuser-Busch in Merrimack.

Bob's greatest joy was his family, particularly his grandchildren. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, whether repairing a car or assisting with home improvements. His warmth, generosity, and humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Bob had a gift for storytelling, delighting family with tales of his youth, working alongside his father, high school adventures, and the antics of beloved household pets over the years.

He passed away after his loving wife of 40 years, Linda A. (Hill) Gobin whom he tirelessly cared for during her Alzheimer's battle, and his brother, Roger Gobin. He is survived by his wife, B. Gayle Gobin; his children, Robert E. Gobin III and wife Tina of Pembroke, and Dawn Gobin and fiancé Charles Bagley of Manchester; his cherished grandchildren, Robert E. Gobin IV, Stephen Gobin, Hana Geissenhainer, and Wilton Geissenhainer; his brothers, Gary Gobin and Brian Gobin; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 10am to 12pm with a Funeral Service beginning at 12pm. Services will be held at the French and Rising Funeral Home, 17 South Mast St., Goffstown, NH.
