Robert Simard Obituary
Bob was born, raised, and educated in Manchester, NH. He lived in Londonderry, NH, and spent his last few years in California with his brother Don. His final resting place will be in New Hampshire with his parents, where he grew up and shared many cherished memories. Bob dedicated much of his life to serving others, having worked as a first responder, EMT, patient transporter, Londonderry Fire Department dispatcher, and Red Cross Disaster Team volunteer. His love for community service extended to his involvement in scouting and his deep devotion to his parents.
Preceded in death by his beloved parents, Robert and Simone, Bob leaves behind eight siblings: Joanne Dudley, Sandra Bourget, Marie Knoetig, David Simard, Janet Dupras, Gerard Simard, Donald Simard, and Steven Simard, along with many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Saint Augustine's Chapel on So. Beech St., Manchester, New Hampshire, on November 9, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a celebration of life luncheon at Belmont Hall. Friends and family are warmly invited to attend and honor Bob's life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief in Bob's memory.

Bob was one of the finest supervisors I met while I was a volunteer with the Red Cross. Bob taught me a lot about volunteering and what it meant to be a Red Cross volunteer, and I fully appreciated his dedication and knowledge. Bob was as authentic and as caring as they come.

There isnt a day that goes by that I dont think about you. or the granddaughters remember reading to you in the hospital here.. Or that Wade and I remember that you where in our wedding party 13 years ago.. We remember the meals.. we shared... the laughs .. you were such a big part in our family.. and we are ever so blessed to have you in our lives and our memories... we miss you... Goldie and Wade
