Roland was one of the funniest, most generous, and big-hearted people I ever knew. From the time I was a kid and my parents stopped by Dunkin’s, I remember seeing him and the regular crew of customers laughing it up about something - then as a teenager I got to share in that laughter once I started working for him. Always the prankster, I have many wonderful memories of working for him and am glad to have been part of the Cote’s crew. Pat, Scott, Regan, Tony, Mark, Mike, Robby, Chris, Huey, Rick, Rick, and all the others we used to try to scare and out-prank one another as we raced around town to get all the work done before the sun came up. “Hurry up! Why aren’t you done yet? Where are you? Why are you THERE? You should be HERE! This floor isn’t going to mop itself! You can’t rush quality..” and all the other one liners we had, oh man. Good times. His laughter was contagious, and his willingness to laugh at himself when things just didn’t seem to go right is something I will never forget. Even 15 years later, when I left my husband, I called him to touch base and he offered me work to help get by. To the family, extended family, and friends: you are in my thoughts and prayers. What an immense loss.

Lauri, Sam, Ben, & Joe,
I know that the weeks and months ahead will be so hard for you. Rollie was the world to you and it is evident by all that really knew him that you were the world to him. You never took from him the way so many did, and because of that he gave your more than he gave to anyone else. He gave you pure love, great respect, true friendship, and his trust. He will forever remain in our hearts.

Roland was great with us as teenagers. We would hang at his house with Caren and all our friends. He always had an open door for us on late nights and expressed how he would rather us hang out at his place and be safe. I will always remember that laugh of his. My thoughts and prayers are with Caren and the family. God bless. Coni Baines and family.

Even though we only knew Rollie for a year, he made an impression that will last a lifetime. His laugh was contagious, and everytime he came into a room it filled with smiles. We are lucky to have known him-we fell in love with 'Uncle' Rollie. We will miss him very much.

Our hearts go out to family & friends of Roland. It always put a smile on our faces to see him crossing Granite Square with Coolatas in hand for us when he came in for a haircut.
God bless and we will miss you.

Roland was some one I looked forward to seeing when ever the family gathered at Caren and Chadd;s home. I always enjoyed talking to him and loved his sense of humor! He was very generous with his family and I am sure many others. This Thanksgiving when we gather he will be missed and we will be thankful for the life he led and the people he touched. We had many memories yet to make with him and now God has him in his Kingdom where he will wait for the rest of us to join him. God Bless you Roland, you were quite a guy!!
With love and sympathy,

Roland will be greatly missed and God will have the cleanest carpets ever! He was a great guy. He gave both of us a job at one point when we needed work, as he did for many other people we know. God Bless Him! Love, the Sousa's.
