ALLENSTOWN -- Ronald R. Lavoie, 60, of Al's Avenue died Jan. 14, 2011, at Concord Hospital.
He was born in Manchester April 6, 1950, to Roger and Gloria (Bouffard) Lavoie. He was a longtime resident of Allenstown,.
During the Vietnam War, he served as a corporal with the U.S. Marine Corps.
He was a master plumber and co-owner of L-R Pool & Spa Services in Bow. He also served with the Allenstown fire and police departments. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
IN HIS LIFE: In addition to his parents, of Sun City, Fla., family members include his wife, Dorothea "Dot" (Sevigny) Lavoie of Allenstown; three children, Tammy Lacerte and her husband, Bill, and David Lavoie and his wife, Suzi, all of Pembroke; and Stacie Lavoie and her partner Brian Rondeau of Allenstown; three grandchildren; six siblings: Sue Sargent and her husband, Brian, of Allenstown; Diane Deslauriers of Seffner, Fla.; Rick Lavoie of Loudon; Jackie Pratt and her husband, Dan, of Concord; Bobby Lavoie of Milford, and Debbie Pelissier and her husband, Ron, of Allenstown; nieces and nephews, and his cousin Ron Duquette, who was like a brother to him.
SERVICES: Friends and relatives may call Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Petit Funeral Home, 167 Main St., Pembroke. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown. Following cremation, burial in the State Veterans Cemetery will be Friday at 3 p.m.
