Ronald St. Cyr Obituary

Ronald "Ron" A. St. Cyr, 69, of Manchester, died peacefully November 17, 2021, surrounded by the love of his family, after a brief illness.

Born in Manchester on September 3, 1952, he was the son of Arthur "Gerry" G. and Lorraine E. (Morin) St. Cyr. He attended St. Anthony High School, and then graduated from Trinity High School, in the class of 1971. He later graduated from Daniel Webster College with an Associate's degree in business.

Prior to retirement, he had worked as a parts clerk for Winmill Equipment Company in Windham. Previously, he had worked for Digital Equipment Corp. as well as Prevue Products.

Ron was an active communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Litchfield and sang in the parish's choir. He also participated in a local choir directed by Luc Roberge, as well as the Manchester Diocesan choir, singing for Pope Francis at the Vatican in 2016.

He enjoyed camping and was also active with the Boy Scouts of America as a local den leader and scout master when his children were young. He loved watching and supporting both the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. He also thoroughly enjoyed being part of a close-knit game night group.

Ron was predeceased by his parents and brother, Andre E. St. Cyr, as well as an infant son, Christopher St. Cyr.

Family members include his wife, Doris (Provencher) (Allyson) St. Cyr of Manchester; his sons, Justin St. Cyr of Allenstown and Michael St. Cyr of Rochester; his step-son, Douglas Allyson of Marietta, GA; his grandson, Tyler St. Cyr of Manchester; siblings Armand St. Cyr and wife Brenda of Nashua, Rene St. Cyr and wife Donna of Liverpool, NY, Diane Janelle and husband Marc of Exeter; his Godchildren, Michael Gauthier, Melissa St. Cyr, and Mathieu Janelle; as well as uncles, aunts, several nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., were Saturday, Nov. 20, from 4 to 7 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, Nov. 22, at 10 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Litchfield. Committal prayers will follow in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Diabetes Association at 800 Avery Blvd, Suite 100, Ridgeland, MS 39157.
