Sally Perley Obituary
Sally was born on April 26, 1937, in Beverly, MA, the daughter of the late Roland and Faith (Bull) Payne. She was a 1955 graduate of Laconia High School and then Lasalle Junior College. She was president for 3 years of Toys for Tots, was a lifetime member of the Elliot Senior Associates, and was on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross. During her career, Sally worked as a secretary, including 15 years at Sheehan Phinney. Since her retirement she enjoyed spending time with her friends, playing poker, and going out to lunch. A phone call with Sally was never complete without a lunch invitation.
Members of her family include: her daughter, Linda Stefanik, of Manchester, NH; a son, Stephen Perley, and his wife, Tanath, of Goffstown, NH; 2 grandchildren, Mandi and Sarah Stefanik of Manchester, NH; 1 great-grandchild, Jace Stefanik of Manchester, NH; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Payne, by exactly one year.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. Interment will take place at a later date at Union Cemetery, in Laconia, NH.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested to take a loved one to lunch. It was her favorite thing to do.
