Sandra Coyle Obituary
She was born in Methuen, MA on November 24th, 1942 to the late Hartley and Anna (Britton) Calvert. She was raised in Lawrence, MA and graduated from Lawrence High School.
Sandra worked for Sanders Associates for many years and retired as an Executive Assistant.
She enjoyed reading, was an avid pool player and spending time with her family. She was a longtime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Merrimack.
Surviving members of her family include a son, Sean Coyle and his wife Brenda of Salem, NH; five daughters, Colleen and her husband Timothy Sowder of Goffstown, NH, Erin and her husband Scott Moyers of AL, Shannon Coyle of Merrimack, NH, Kathleen Thistle and her husband John of Merrimack, NH, and Meghan and her husband Michael Bourn of Tewksbury, MA; 10 grandchildren, Brian, Kevin, Regan, Elizabeth, Brendan, Ryan, Matthew, Kyle, Kaylee and Eleanor; a great-granddaughter, Cerise; a sister, Donna and her husband Arthur Cahalane of Salisbury, MA, along with a niece, Heather Fowler and nephew, Scott Cahalane.
Calling hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack on Wednesday, December 16th from 5 - 7 PM. A graveside service will be held at the Last Rest Cemetery on Thursday, December 17th at 10 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Sandra's name to the VFW Post 8641 Ladies Auxiliary, 282 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack NH 03054

Sandy and I were second cousins, once removed and spent many hours together in childhood and stayed in touch once we married and had our families. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. I send my sincere sympathy to her family and along with my regret in not being there personally to pay my respects.

I want to offer you my deepest condolences on the passing of your mother. My mother is Sandy Morrison, the daughter of Rachel Coyle Morrison. Rachel was the sister of your Grandpa Tommy Coyle. Your father and Grandma Gertrude came to Rachel's wake, which my mother greatly appreciated. I met all of you when I was a little girl. I also believe that your mother came to my brother's wake.
