Steven Bomba Obituary
Born on November 13, 1990 in Dorchester, MA, he was the son of Stephen C. and Christine Ann (Hogan) Bomba.
Growing up in Lincoln, NH, he was a 2009 graduate of Lin-Wood High School and then attended Lakes Region Community College in Laconia, NH, majoring in Fire Science.
Steven was employed as a full time dispatcher with the Grafton County Sheriff's Department and he was a dedicated member of the Lincoln Fire Department, serving as Captain. He was also a member of the Campton-Thornton Fire Department, as an EMT with the Lin-Wood Ambulance, and a part-time dispatcher with the Lincoln Police Department.
He enjoyed sports, especially football, baseball, and wrestling.
He was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Lincoln, NH and will be remembered by his family as having a big heart, always placing his family first and helping those in need.
He leaves his parents, Stephen and Christine Bomba of Lincoln; his siblings Anthony of Thornton, Joseph, Vincent, Jennifer, and Phillip all of Lincoln, NH; maternal grandfather Francis Hogan of Weymouth, MA and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Wednesday, August 24 at St. Joseph Church in Lincoln, NH. Rev. David Kneeland will officiate. Burial with full honors will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Lincoln.
Calling hours will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday, August 23 at Fournier-Hale Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, No. Woodstock, NH.

3 years feels like yesterday. There are signs of you everywhere, you are never forgotten. We know of many that miss you terribly, your family most. In your 25 years Steven you certainly left a mark on our communities. Rest in Peace you are our Angel looking over our firefighters and neighbors.

Steve was a great guy to meet and work with. Like so many of others have said he went and beyond for others before himself. I met him when he lived briefly in Whitefield where he also had joined our Fire Department as well. The little time that we had him on the fire department he proved himself. Unfortunately I would not be able to attend any of the services but my prayers are for his family and co workers in all of his employment that he have been at. RIP Steve The community will surely miss you but will remember how a person that you was.

Oh Bomba, I know we didn't know each other well, you knew my sister better. We worked together so breifly at Gh a few years back and it always seemed you'd be running off for a fire or some other emergency. I can't even remember the last time we really spoke... I just want you to know, that even though we didn't know each other well, that you were an inspiration. Even at a young age you threw yourself into everything you did. I applaud you sir. You touched far more people than you realized and will be missed by even more. My heart goes out to your family. I can't imagine, and don't have the right words. RIP Bomba. RIP
