Thomas Edward Stonefield

Thomas Edward Stonefield, 74, born and raised in Onset, MA, passed away from a heart condition on January 30, 2023, at his home in Bedford, NH. Loving husband of 52 years to Antionette (Guardabascio) Stonefield, father of Stephanie Sudderth, Suzanne Stonefield, and Tess Stonefield, and papa to Stella Merrill Sudderth.

He was an adventurer, lover of the ocean, a rule breaker, the life of the party, a jokester, and really loved a good book. He was a people person who would greet you with an incredible smile and make you feel welcome, with a perfectly made cosmo and a great story. In the end, Ed lived his life and his heart to the fullest. He lived on his own terms, provided for his family, raised three strong independent women who will miss him terribly, and was very much beloved by his grand puppies.

"Eddie" is survived by his siblings, Shirley Vigliano of Vero Beach, FL; Peter and Elaine NG of San Ramon, CA; Joanne Tatarian of Attleboro, MA; J. Michael Stonefield and his wife, Deborah, of Myrtle Beach, SC, his sister-in-law's, Teresita Stonefield of Myrtle Beach, SC; Anne Stonefield of Plymouth, MA. He is predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Mary (Mosher) Stonefield; his brothers Stanley and Richard Stonefield; his sister Mary Jane Hassett; and his brother-in-law Tim Tatarian.

Brother-in-law to Susan Dunn and her late husband, Paul, of Dedham, Mary Kay Guardabascio of Norwood, Anna Pope and her husband, Kyle, of Dedham, Nicholas Guardabascio of Dedham and his wife Lori, Anthony Guardabascio of Woodstock, New Hampshire, Connie Guardabascio of South Attleboro, Peter Guardabascio of Norwood, Jane Carme and her husband, Spencer, of Hudson, and the late Dorothy Tomasello and Jeannie Lynch.

A celebration of life will be held on April 15th, at the Bay Pointe Country Club in Buzzard's Bay, MA at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Heart Association.
