HAMPSTEAD -- Thomas E. Tsepas, 60, of East Hampstead, died April 5, 2011, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester.
He was born in Rutland, Vt., to James and Beryl (Biddle) Tsepas, and was raised and educated in Andover, Mass. He graduated from Andover High School Class in 1968 and received a degree in engineering from Lowell University.
A U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he served as a medical corpsman.
Mr. Tsepas was employed for 15 years as an engineer at Raytheon Co. and also worked as a chef in several area restaurants. He also served as head of disaster relief for the state of New Hampshire through the Southern Baptist Convention.
Mr. Tsepas enjoyed cooking and was an avid fisherman.
Family includes his wife of 37 years, Paula (Sawyer) Tsepas; sons Stephen J. Tsepas of Derry, Nicholas P. Tsepas of Danville, Evan T. Tsepas of Lynchburg, Va.; daughters Christina L. Soucy of Plaistow and Victoria E. Tsepas of Lynchburg, Va.; brother James Tsepas of Williamson, N.Y.; sisters Victoria Gibson of Williamson, Willa Hamilton of Newcastle, K.Y., and Tina Glidden of Brockton, Mass.; seven grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
SERVICES: A calling hour is from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday at Brookridge Community Church, 232 Main St., Haverhill, Mass. A service will follow at 6 p.m. in the church. Burial will be Friday at 9 a.m. in West Parish Cemetery, Andover. Those wishing to follow the family in procession are asked to meet the family at 8 a.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow.
Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Drive, Bedford.

To the Tsepas family - I am so sorry for your loss. Life is way too short, but we are comforted to know that Tom is in a wonderful place now. My thoughts and prayers are with you during these difficult days.
