Thomas Tucker Obituary
Tom was raised in Cumberland, RI, where he graduated from Cumberland High School. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for four years before returning to civilian life. After settling in New Hampshire, he attended Hesser College and began a long career as a satellite tracker at the New Boston Satellite Tracking Station, where he retired after 36 years of dedicated service.
A passionate fan of New England sports teams, Tom enjoyed watching baseball, basketball, and football. He also loved golfing with his brothers, taking scenic drives, and going on walks with Louise. He was an excellent cook and loved to travel. Most importantly, he cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Louise Tucker; his children, son Michael Tucker and his wife Julia D'Orazio, and daughter Erin Wilson; his granddaughter, Hailey Wilson; his siblings, Paul Tucker, Peter Tucker and his wife Janet, Andrew Tucker and his wife Linda, Terry Tucker and his wife Cathy, Phil Tucker, and Andrea Murray; stepson Roger St. John and his wife Brittany Nye St. John; stepdaughter Kelly Hood; step-grandchildren Oakley and Ryker St. John and Sebastian Hood; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph and Steven Tucker.
A Celebration of Tom's Life will be held on Sunday, April 27th, from 3PM to 6PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Manchester, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend.
