I traveled for 25 years all across America in music ministry! I sang for Tal many times! One Friday I was going east toward a Sunday booking in Maine! As I came to an exit for I-93 I thought I've got a couple extra days I wonder, should I go up to Rumney and say hello? So I did the spiritual thing and flipped a coin... and headed north! He gave me dinner and a room told me he just had a disagreement with the Saturday night concert artist and I was it! I just happened to have a brand new album with me so that was an amazing moment! Tal and Evie were a huge blessing to me! www.mickeyholiday.com

I was looking through the internet and decided to search for a bio on Tal. It's been a long time. Priscilla and I settled in Wheaton Illinois after many years of work in publishing with Scripture Press and Tyndale House. Trust you are well. Tal entered a much deserved rest. May his memory live on. Wightman Weese

While in their home at Rumney, my wife and I enjoyed Tal's and Evie's warm hospitality so much. One story that stuck with me came from WWII. Tal served as a gunner for the remote-turret on the P-61 Black Widow night fighter. He talked about how tricky it was to control the turret.

Dear Evie, I just heard about Tal's "homegoing." My mom also went to be with the Lord in March. What a reunion we will experience someday! I have many memories of you both at Rumney and also the many times Tal spoke at dad's churches throughout the years. You are in my prayers!

Dear Evie, Cindy & Marcy and Family: Our thoughts & prayers are with you at this time of mixed emotions. Tal blessed many lives over many years. He worked hard and long for his Savior, spreading the message of Calvary and the Strenth of Faith. Now is his turn to rest in the arms of our Loving Savior. I also have many happy memories of hours at CCP and Happy T, then working under Tal as counselor at Happy T. Tal was an important part of our own Dad coming to know the Lord before he went on to Glory.
But there is also sorrow in our lives as you will miss him. Evie, 60 years of marriage, having him by your side, will bring you sadness at times. Cindy & Marcy, you and your families will miss your Dad and Grandfather. But God knows this too, & provides you with his loving arms to enfold you thru the family & friends you have around you. Let us all comfort you in those difficult hours by upholding you in our thoughts & prayers. Remember we are here too, Call on us when you need us. Do take care. All our thoughts & prayers, Chuck, Charlene & Barbara Thayer.

Hello Evie, What a time of rejoicing there must be in Heaven! Tal is home! I have many wonderful memories of Rumney from our years at Brookdale when Ed and I brought our Youth Groups up there for winter retreats. They were wonderful years. Tal was always "up" and with his positive attitude, won the hearts of all of us. God used him in so many wonderful and mighty ways to build His Kingdom. I know you will miss him, Evie, as I missed my Ed when the Lord took him home. But we have our Father's true promise that we shall all be united once again "When we all get to Heaven"! Until that day, we carry on and do not lose hope. Keeping you in my prayers and my heart,

Tal was a traveling disciple-maker, a loving itinerant evangelist and Bible teacher.
He continued coming into the prison (where I serve as chaplain) even when his health was faltering. The last time he led about 2.5 hours of teaching while wearing a portable oxygen tank!
Faithful to the uttermost.

As a late teenager i sat under the preaching of Tal on many a Saturday night in Park Street Church (Youth for Christ). I will always cherish those wonderful days as well as the trips to the Rumney Bible camp.
