BRENTWOOD -- Virginia L. DeCarteret, 77, died Aug. 3, 2008, at Rockingham County Nursing Home, following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Nashua Feb. 3, 1931, to Douglas and Lois (Bradley) Logan. She lived in Deerfield for several years and was a resident of Rockingham Nursing Home the past several years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard DeCarteret, in 1987, and by a son, Richard A. DeCarteret, who died last February.
Family includes son Eric DeCarteret, of Sanbornton; daughters Pamela Honsa of Bellingham, Mass., Susan Aubrey and Cindy Morrissette, both of Deerfield; 11 grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; sisters Helen Stuart of Warner and Barbara Logan of Lowell, Mass.; brothers Ralph Logan of Lowell and James Logan of Walpole, Mass.; several nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Calling hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester.
The funeral is Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Tyngsboro Memorial Cemetery, Tyngsboro, Mass., at the convenience of the family.
