Vita Indoccio Obituary

Vita Indoccio, 86, of Derry, NH, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018, in High Point Hospice in Haverhill, MA surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Sciacca, Sicily, Italy on October 1, 1931, a daughter of the late Leonardo and Doreen Dimino. Vita immigrated from Italy 63 years ago and her first job upon living in the United Sates was a cake decorator for the Derry bakery. She loved to cook. Vita's family were her greatest joy and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her two daughters, Doreen Cino and her husband Michael and Ann Marie McManus and her husband Phil; one son, Frank Intorcio and his wife Cathy, six grandchildren, Kristine, T.J., Nicholas, Brandon, Gina and Joleena; two great grandchildren, Madison and Isabella, three step-grandchildren, Lisa, Crystal and Chad; her siblings in Italy, Carlo, Pippina, and Katie; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by her husband in 2000.

At the request of Vita, private services were held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Crystal Avenue, Derry. Burial followed at Holy Cross Cemetery in Londonderry with her beloved husband. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry is handling the arrangements.
