William Landry Obituary

William "Bill" F. Landry, age 79, passed away at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, New Hampshire on November 17, 2024. Born on September 7, 1945, he was the son of the late Francis and Rite (Donnelly) Landry.

As a Manchester native, Bill was educated in the Manchester Public School system and went on to serve in the United States Army. He spent most of his career in the sheet metal industry and other trades, such as siding and roofing. He enjoyed fishing and was a lifetime member of Deerhead Sportsman Club, as well as many other social clubs, including the Mont Royal of Manchester. Bill was passionate about motorcycles and loved to ride. He and his beloved wife, Barbara, spent 49 wonderful years together and he treasured spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bill is survived by his wife, Barbara (Casey) Landry; daughter, Jill Landry of Manchester, NH; sister, Mary Bergeron and husband, James of Manchester, NH; brother, James Landry and wife, Tracey of Kingston, NH; three grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son, William Landry Jr., and brother, Paul Landry.

A graveside service and burial for William will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Holbrook Cemetery in Candia, NH.

In lieu of flowers, the Landry family kindly requests that a donation be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org/donate.
