William Mensinger Obituary

William Charles Mensinger Jr., 75, Derry, NH

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bill Mensinger, Jr., age 75, on July 13th, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Michelle, three sons Bill, Brian and Daniel, two sisters Linda and Sharon, five grandchildren, Kaylee, Jacob, Logan, Lacey, Holland, and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Bill was a loving father, a generous and loyal person, and was loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed fishing on Long Island, competition sporting clays, and restoring cars. Bill's warmth and kindness touched many lives, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held at a later date, with close family and friends gathering to honor his memory.

Bill was a special member of our 1966 graduating class of Marple Newtown High School. All of his classmates, including me, looked forward to seeing him at our reunions. He was remarkably kind, and his warm smile was so ingratiating. Just a lovely person, through all these decades.

Bill was always willing to help out especially on large snow storms. Clearing away feet of snow so we could get into our driveway. A kind person who will be missed by all.

My love and warm feelings go out to you and your family for your loss of Bill. You and he were such a remarkable couple, you accomplished so much together..your home and grounds were only one project I know of. Atkinson Garden Club spent a very rememberable day with you both. Remember the butterfly and their symbol of life´s rebirth. Let the tears of great memories flow and smile as you remember them. You are one of my favorite garden club friends. Janet Snowdon

Sitting down in front of his cottage, in the Hamptons, talking about fishing, shooting, kids and grandkids made sharing our vacation for the past 20 years with Bill and Michelle wonderful. My wife, kids and grandson will miss him dearly.
