Charles Shepard Obituary
DUPONT - Charles Vern Shepard, 90, of Dupont died at 12:20 a.m. Sunday, November 22, 2015 at his residence. He was born August 8, 1925 in Urbana to the late Ezra Roy and Thessel Elizabeth (Geuy) Shepard. He married Marjorie E. Heater, who survives in Dupont.
Charles is also survived by their four children, Howard (Marilyn) Shepard of Dupont, Esther (Kevin) Brown of New Sharon, Iowa, Fredrick (Rachele) Shepard of Cloverdale and Forrest (Carrie) Shepard of Lima; a daughter-in-law, Rose (Potts) Shepard of Paulding; and 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also preceded in death by two sons: Michael L. and C. Patrick Shepard, a sister and three brothers.
He attended Dupont First Church of God.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fairview Cemetery, West Liberty. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the Church of God Campground in Payne.
