Eleanor Corbett Obituary
NORTH LEWISBURG - Eleanor L. Corbett, 94, of North Lewisburg, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in Vancrest of Urbana Assisted Living.
She was born April 3, 1923, the daughter of Peter and Louise (Holland) Lame. Eleanor was a member of the Eastern Star and retired from London Correctional Facility.
She is survived by her son, Bob (Sherrill) Corbett of North Lewisburg; her daughter, Evelyn Morgan of Dayton; seven grandchildren, Jim, Beth, Bruce, Kathy, Michael, Michele and Mary Beth; 12 great-grandchildren; her sister, Imogene Connelly of Zanesfield; and many other friends and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years, Bob Corbett; her granddaughter, Marcie Morgan; and her son-in-law, Julian Morgan.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2018 in Maple Grove Cemetery, North Lewisburg with Pastor Kathy Reiff officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Champaign County, P.O. Box 38125, Urbana, Ohio 43078.
Services are entrusted to FRESHWATER, McDONALD & VERNON FUNERAL HOME, North Lewisburg. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.vernonfh.com.
