URBANA - Kathryn Anna Halterman, of Urbana, passed away peacefully September 30, 2018 in Mercy Health, Urbana, Ohio. She was born June 30, 1931, daughter of Maurice and Helen (Yocom) Botkin. Kathryn worked hard all of her life farming with her father, husband and family. Mom loved her flower gardens and feeding and watching all the beautiful birds she attracted with those gardens. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family. As our hearts ache for the physical loss of her, we find comfort knowing she is at peace and no longer suffering. And for that we are grateful. She is survived by her sons Roger (Kim), Phillip (Sally), and daughter Debbie (J.D.) House, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Art Halterman, son Mike, and sister Francis Fought. As per Kathryn's request, there will be no services. The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to Mercy Health, Urbana, Mercy McCauley Center and Hospice of Dayton. A special thank you to Felicity Finch whom she adored. Arrangements are in the care of WALTER AND LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, Urbana.
