MECHANICSBURG – Michael Caudill, 68 of Mechanicsburg, passed away Friday, May 24, 2024 in his home with his family by his side.
He was born July 11, 1955 in Hazard, Kentucky. Mike was a 1973 graduate of Northwestern High School. He served his country in the United States Army.
He was employed for over 44 years with Pentaflex in Springfield, Ohio.
Mike enjoyed the outdoors; hunting, fishing, camping, attending car shows but most of all spending time with his grandkids.
His survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Betsy Lynn (Marshall) Caudill; mother, Martha Hammons; his children, Bobbie Jo (John) Ritchie, Shane Caudill and Michael J. Caudill; his grandchildren, Leslie, Madison, Gavin, Shanna, Shelby, Christopher, Denver, Fred and Cole; a great-granddaughter, Harlow; his siblings, Marc (Becky) Caudill and Erica (Chris) Crowder; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mike is preceded in death by his father, Fred Caudill, a brother, Bill Caudill and his mother and father-in-law, Betty and Bob Marshall.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024 in the SKILLMAN, MCDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, Ohio.
The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Mimi Ault officiating.
Burial will follow in Treacles Creek Cemetery, Mechanicsburg, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Champaign County, P.O. Box 38125, Urbana, Ohio 43078.

I am so sorry for the loss, I worked with Mike for many years and a lot of others guys that we worked with have now passed on and I am sure that they are all sitting around and having a beer.
We had a lot of laughs over the years and he will be missed.

I'm so sorry for your loss. He made the world a better place and and I was blessed to know him and a better person for it. He made me laugh so much and played rotten tricks on me as I did him. He did catch me on fire once and we laughed so hard....later.
