He was born on April 5, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Jack and Betty (Charles) Moler. Michael was a 1971 graduate of Mechanicsburg High School. He enjoyed blues music, fishing, gardening and riding his John Deere lawn mower. He was an avid OSU football fan and loved attending high school sporting events of any kind.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Dianna Lynn (Griffin) Moler, daughters, Helen Renee (Robert) Stone, Michelle Anne Moler (Aung Oo), son, Tyler (Liane) Moler, grandson, Colin Michael Stone, brothers-in-law, James (Donna) Griffin, Charles (Lori) Griffin, sisters-in-law, Vicky (Michael) Ray, Karen Poteet, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 20, 2015, in SKILLMAN, MCDONALD & VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Mechanicsburg. The family will receive friends 4-7 p.m. prior to the service. Contributions may be made in Michael's memory to the American Heart Association, 5455 North High Street, Columbus, OH 43214. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.vernonfh.com.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I'm also sorry that we couldn't attend calling hours as we were out of state. Mike and Mike Murrel lived in a trailer next to me when we were young and crazy. I truly enjoyed our time together and will always have fond memories of Mike. Danny Gaver
