Randy Johnson Obituary
MECHANICSBURG - Randy Dale Johnson, 62, of Mechanicsburg, Ohio passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at Madison Health Hospital due to a heart attack. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Randy was born on June 7, 1959 in Springfield, Ohio to Jack and Joy (Strader) Johnson. He attended Mechanicsburg High School. He retired from Jefferson Industries after 29 years of service. In his free time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles, restoring antiques and going to flea markets and auctions. He was an outdoorsman, as he loved hunting, fishing and gardening.
His love for his family and friends will live on. To some, Randy was a rebel, a true and trusted friend. To others, Randy was a hero and a gentle giant. He takes a piece of our hearts. We will cherish the memories and Randy will live on in our hearts.
Randy is survived by his mother; his fiancé Debbie Adams; his brother Terry Lee Johnson; his sisters Angie (Mark) Anderson, and Debbie Johnson; his nieces/nephews Nikki Mitchell, Lacy Davis, Jason Anderson, Joy Uridel, Erin Anderson, Jackie Orders, Eric, Josh, Jack McNeely; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces/nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father; brother Kirk Russell; sister-in-law Ruthie Johnson.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at SKILLMAN, McDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, Ohio with Pastor Kylan Booser officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
