I will never forget this character from my mother's side of the family. My mother was Mary Ann Grygiel. My grandmother was Amelia Wojtanowski, Adam's sister. The memory of Uncle Adam bringing delicious homegrown concord grapes and grape juice to us when we were so young,we're talking late 1960s here, will be forever etched in my fondest memories of living in upstate New York. I was in upstate last October. We tried to visit with Adam but it never happened. Too bad. I hope that he is at peace with his family in Heaven, he's in good company.
