Frankfort
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Bennys Mass of Christian Burial and Celebration of Life which will commence this afternoon at 12:00 noon at the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes with Military and Police Honors conferred. The family will receive visitors at the conclusion of the Mass. Expressions of sympathy in the form of donations may be made to the family to establish a scholarship fund for local criminal justice students; envelopes will be available at the service. Entombment will take place in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum at the convenience of the family. Rita, Benny and I go back when he was just a patrolman. I rode horses on his farm. He was an ok guy who will be missed by a lot of people. We served together in the Army Reserves and I got to fingerprint him. Boy, we both had a good laugh over that one. I liked Benny and will miss him. Chief, you were a great leader, friend, husband and father. Your inspiration meant a lot to all of us. And at the end of your days, you ride off into the sunset on your trusty horse, Blaze.
