MARCY, NY
Deanna (Paladino) Scialdone, age 41, of Marcy, passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. In keeping with Deanna's wishes, there will be no public visitation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 at St. Joseph & St. Patrick Church, 702 Columbia Street, Utica. The family will receive visitors in church immediately following the Funeral Mass. Interment will take place privately in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Adrean Funeral Service, Inc., 700 Rutger Street, Utica, NY 13501. Please consider memorial contributions to the family for the education of Deanna's children. Deanna was such a beautiful woman inside and out. She was such a wonderful volunteer for Abraham House with all of our fundraisers. She was always so upbeat and her personality was contagious. We will be dedicating our Talent Show on March 14 at MVCC in memory of Deanna since that was the last fundraiser she did for us. There are no words to make this seem fair. It isn't. She will be missed. Our thoughts are with you.

Ralph, and Rosemarie, we are heart broken to hear of you baby's passing. I know we haven't seen each other in years, but real loyal Friends never forget! I can only say that she was a beautiful woman both inside and out. I will say a Novena to St. Michael, you now will have to be most faithful, and I know you are great parents and grand parents.

You may not remember me but I was Dr. Avramidis nurse for many years and whenever Deanna came in, she always made us laugh and always had a great outlook on her condition and life in general. I watched her children grow over the years and I will miss her ever smiling face even though I live in Florida now. I think about her often- she was a great inspiration to all of us. God Bless her family.
