Frank Cowan Obituary
COLD BROOK - On October 4th, God gained another angel, Frank K. Cowan, Sr.
Frank was a longtime resident of Ohio/Cold Brook, until retiring in 2011 and becoming a snowbird. He was the son of the late Alfred Cowan, Sr. and Myrtle (King) Cowan.
Frank worked his entire life in construction with Bell Construction, Talarico Brothers, Eastern Rock/Hanson, as a heavy equipment operator. He also enjoyed hunting camp with his brothers and other close friends.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Celeste (Miller); daughters, Selena (Cowan) Robert Fuller, Dade City, Florida, Tricia Cowan, Lakeland, Florida; son Frank Cowan, Jr. and his companion, Christy Potter; eight grandchildren, David Burkhart (Trina), Jason Cowan, Christopher Burkhart, Dannielle (Cowan) McCabe (Zachary), Frank Cowan, III (Emily), Brady Cowan, Jordyn Cowan and Connor Cowan; three great-grandchildren, Kaysen Burkhart, Wyatt and Mason Cowan; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, which he cherished deeply; a special daughter, Melanie (Cowan) Sarafin and Jeff; and his Goddaughter, Sara (Barrows) Tyson.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 12, 2018 at the Cold Brook American Legion beginning at 5 p.m.
As he lived being a generous and giving man, Frank donated his body for research.

Celeste and family : I am sorry to hear of Frank's passing. Hugs to you all! May the strength from family and friends turn your tears of grief to tears of laughter as you reflect on the many great times, laughs, fun and adventure you all experienced together.
