Joseph JC Caruso, 58, passed away on February 12, 2009 in the comfort of his home. Calling hours will be today from 1-4 at the Smith Funeral Home, 3022 Oneida St., Sauquoit. Funeral services will follow immediately at 4:00. In JCs memory, please consider donations to Hospice and Palliative Care, 4277 Middle Settlement Rd., New Hartford, NY 13413. In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
