BOCA RATON, FL/NEW HARTFORD, NY
Nicholas W. Weaver, 36, of Boca Raton, FL, and formerly of New Hartford, passed away unexpectedly due to injuries sustained in a plane crash in Ohio, on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. Nick was a 1997 graduate of New Hartford High School; he continued his education and graduated from Siena College. He was employed with PEBB Enterprises in Boca Raton, FL. Nick is the son of Bill Weaver, of Orlando, FL, and Gay and Bruce DiNitto, of New Hartford, NY. Nick leaves his wife, Robin Gargano Weaver, of Boca Raton, FL; his sisters, Ashley DiNitto Elsenbeck (Rob), of Colorado, and Laura DiNitto (Connor Cafferty), of Boca Raton, FL. He also leaves a special cousin, Sean Weaver, of Melbourne, FL, who was like a brother to Nick; his in-laws, Ron and Jan Gargano, of Boca Raton, FL, and Ryan Gargano, of Sun Valley, Idaho; and his grandmothers, Gladys Hill, of New Hartford, NY, and Ginger DiNitto, of Frankfort, NY. He was predeceased by his sister, Nicole Weaver, on November 19, 1983. Nick was the kind of guy that loved being with friends, enjoying sports, playing hockey and golf, and having a few beers with his buds. He was a huge Rangers, Mets, Dallas and North Carolina fan. He was also a very sensitive, caring, loving, respected, kind-hearted man, with a sense of humor that made him a pleasure to be with. He loved working in Commercial Real Estate and recently received his own broker's license. Nick had great promise ahead of him. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 21 at 10:00 a.m. at Historic Old St. John's Church, 240 Bleecker St., Utica, NY 13501. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford, NY 13413. My condolences to Nick's family, especially his wife, and all his friends. I only knew Nick from high school and I know everyone has said it but Nick was a great kid. Always polite, kind and fun to be around. I will always remember Nick this way. I'm so sorry for your loss but I hope your memories of him keep you smiling for a long time to come.

Nick was such a special person in our lives. We loved his sense of humor and he was always the life of the party. He cared so deeply for his family and friends and was the type of person that would do anything for you. He will forever be missed and there will not be a day that goes by that we won't think of him. Nick was always a "class act" while playing baseball in New Hartford as a boy. He was the player who led by example and all the other players admired. I remember him as having that great "one of a kind" Nick Weaver smile. He still had it when I saw him in Florida at Rollins College when he was in his 20's just the same as he did when he was 12. Nick was a pleasure to know and coach. I morn his passing and grieve for his family. Nick is gone, but will never be forgotten by those of us whose life he touched. God Bless you Nick!
