Dear Mr. & Mrs. Robertello,
My daughter and I cannot express how sorry we are for the loss of your beautiful daughter.
Nicole, watched my daughter every day at school and at our home. Nicole loved children and they loved her. In my household, Nicole's passing has affected us both, but especially my 5 yr old daughter who loved her so.
She continues to be alive in our hearts and in my daughter's daily activities. She treasures the pictures Nicole drew for her and speaks of her often.
Please know that she was and continues to be loved by many and will be missed by all.
Our prayers are with you.

To the Robertello family:
I send you prayer and support from Charlotte, NC.
The news of this tragedy had swept me off of my feet. I was fortunate to have been Nicci's roommate while she attended the Art Institute. She showed great determination in her studies and always put forth her best efforts. She was very caring, generous, smart, and strong willed. Even though I only knew her for a short period of time, it was time well spent and I and those who knew her down here will cherish those memories.
May the thoughts and prayers guide you through this time and may God be with you at all times. All of my best thoughts go out to you and her friends and I hope you all will be brought better days.

Nicci you were taken too soon but, evidently God needed you. Thank you for the memories and may you rest in peace.

To the Robertello family,
I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss. Nicole was such a beautiful, happy, caring person. She was not a classmate of mine, she was a close friend. I was privileged to be able to know her and got to spend a lot of special times with her that I will never forget. Nicole loved to play sports as did I and her love and passion for soccer and track is one that people should look up too. My prayers are with you and your family. Nicole will always be looking down on her friends and family with a smile on her face!
My Deepest Sympathy,

Nikki was an amazing team captain of the volleyball team. Us younger girls looked up to her and are glad that someone so strong and great led us. Those powerful spikes were always the highlight of our games and practices and kept us going. Nikki will always be remembered for her great leadership. Ash and Family, hold your heads up high, because somewhere from up above, she will always be watching and know that she touched the lives of many people.

To the Robertello Family:
Growing up in a small town meant knowing eachother as family. And Nicci was a family membor of Oriskany that can never be replaced. Her bubbly personality, determination, and charisma were qualities that could not be duplicated, and were admired by everyone she met. I have much respect for her parents for doing a great job raising such a beautiful soul.
To have been able to play sports along side Nicci has been a great honor. Her natural talent and hard work encouraged us all to be better athletes. I will cherish every memory- every moment.
Words can never tell how saddened I am by your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. I will miss you Nicci.

When I look up, I remember every moment we shared together. I remember always looking up to you as my big sister and trying to be like you in every way I could. Nicci. I still feel you next to me, smiling on the bus as a little girl, telling me all there is to know about being and athlete. I still hear you yelling at me telling me to "PUSH IT" through those last couple meters. I still feel your arms around me shielding me from the rain on the bleachers. I still see you laughing at me over in the sand pit at all the times we just couldn't seem to count my steps right for the long jump. =) I remember stealing PB&J's from Kris and all our talks about him ; ]. You were truly my inspiration for the girl I am today. I love you so much big sister. Suenos Dolces my angel.
To your Family: Nicci's but a mere smile away and a trip to the track, a look at her photo and she's right back! You didnt think God would let us have her forever did you? She's way too awesome for Him not to spend some time with her too! Nicci's teaching Jesus ALL about sports! Psalm 34: 17-18

Bill, Cathy, Ashley, and Taylor,
We are so saddened by the loss of your beautiful daughter and sister. There are no words anyone can say to ease the pain for any of you right now. As parents of athletes and one of Nicole's classmates, we had the honor of witnessing Nicole's talent and determination, first hand. Whether it was at the Hershey Track Meet, high school track meets, or on a soccer field, it was evident that Nicole gave 110% to everything she did in her life and loved it! She was as competitive as they come and would always give the boys "a run for their money." As you know, we also love the Adirondacks and are so sorry that such a beautiful place has become a place you would like to forget right now. This tragedy has opened the eyes of many and reminds us just how precious life is and how quickly we can lose someone we love. She touched many lives in such a loving way and will always be a special friend and classmate of the class of 2005. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and may they give you support and strength through this very difficult time.

My memories of Nicole will always be of a girl who was fragile, yet strong. As her third and fourth grade teacher I was always tickled by her "girly" tomboy ways. She was so beautiful, her smile so disarming and yet she could outrun and outplay most of the boys! It was a privilege to watch her develop into a charming beautiful young woman who continued to outrun and outplay most others on the track and field(soccer). She never seem to fully understand the depth of her beauty, talent, and charm. The heavens have brightened with Nicole's shining presence, but here on earth things seem a bit duller. My family and I are so saddened for all of you and will keep you in prayer and thought.

Mr. & Mrs. Robertello,
I am so sorry for your loss. I was not very close to Nicci but more so with Ashley in high school. But Nicci was and still is a very beautiful girl that you raised to be kind to everyone she walked by. She was very talented and her memory will live on forever with us Oriskany students. She is in good hands in heaven with the other students and family that have already passed. My heart and thoughts and prayers go out to you and Ashley and Taylor.

To the family and friends of Nicole. As we have never met, but all share the love of the Adirondack Mountains and The Fulton Chain of Lakes we are so saddened and heartbroken for your loss. Our family was only two hours ahead of your beloved Nicole on the channel between 2nd and 3rd lake on Saturday evening. It is a lesson to us all how precious life is and how quickly our loved ones can be gone. We are so very sorry that your family has to endure this pain, but please take heart that there are many people who are praying for you and will change their ways upon realization that life is truly a gift and as Christians, we should live like it was our last day- because it just may be... All our prayers.
