I was Pat's teacher in the early 1970s. He was a wonderful young man who brought laughter and kindness to all around him. He could and would talk to and befriend anyone. Throughout his years in Waterville he made many friends and brought much joy to life. He was a perfect example that all human beings bring value to their communities despite challenges they may face. Over 50 years later I still have special memories of Pat and continue to relate them to family and friends. His family should be very proud to have raised such a good man who contributed to his community in in so many ways.
