Mary Ann Szambelan
MADISON, NY
Stanislaus J. Szambelan and Mary Ann Szambelan passed away on June 27 and June 29, 2015, respectively. He in Crouse Hospital in Syracuse and she at the Katherine Luther Health Care Center in Clinton. Stan was born in Newport, N.H., on May 9, 1934, to the late Stanislaw K. and Anna J. Myszkowska Szambelan, and received his education at Stevens High School in Claremont, N.H., as well as St. Anselm's College, the University of Dayton and Tuft's University School of Dental Medicine. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Force. Mary Ann was born on January 6, 1939, to the late Russell A. and Catherine Billings, and was a graduate of New Hartford High School. Together they operated Willow Hill Antiques in Madison for over 30 years. Stan and Mary Ann are survived by Mary Ann's grandson, Christopher Fellone, of Bridgewater. They were predeceased by Mary Ann's son, Kevin Fellone, on February 19, 2010. A memorial gathering will be held this Saturday, July 11, from 2-4 at the Smith Funeral Home, 3022 Oneida St., Sauquoit, with prayers being offered at 4:00 at the funeral home. i was so very sorry to hgear of thier passing ,i found out to late or i would of been there. maryanne and astan were very good friends to us and i knew them almost my whole life,please know you are in my prayers chrisipher and that they loved you so much you were your grandmothers pride and joy god bless cathiee hodges frost.

We are saddened to hear of Stan and Maryann's passing. We were good friends for years till they moved to Madison. Good bye friends for now. We are praying for peace for all who knew and loved them.

I worked with Mary Ann at the Fleet Bank in New Hartford. I enjoyed working with her and I appreciated her sense of humor. She and Stan were a great couple... Debi Nasto
