Timothy Lampman Obituary
BOONVILLE - Timothy M. Lampman, 71, affectionately known as "Timmy", passed away suddenly at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Utica, on Friday, April 27, 2018.
A U.S. Army Veteran, Mr. Lampman served in Germany during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1968. From 1972 until his retirement as Field Superintendent in 2009, he was employed in building and highway construction on many major Central NY construction projects for Local 440, Iron Workers of Utica, NY.
On July 20, 1968, Tim was united in marriage with Linda M. Andrews at the Boonville United Methodist Church. Linda passed away on August 1, 2006.
Tim is survived by one son, Mark L. Lampman, Boonville; one daughter, Kimberley A. Lampman, Utica; three granddaughters; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne (Teresa) Lampman, Boonville, and Chris (Laurie) Ricci, Boonville; and a host of family and friends.
His funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 AM at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc., 143 Schuyler St., Boonville. Interment with Military Rites will follow in Boonville Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday, 2-4 and 6-8 PM, at the funeral home.
Tim had a special affection for his canine friend, "Pepper". Memorial contributions may be made to Stevens-Swan Humane Society, 5664 Horatio Street, Utica, NY 13502, or to The Utica Rescue Mission, 203 Rutger St., Utica, NY 13501.
