Wendy Deking-Pratt Obituary
Waterville
Wendy M. Deking-Pratt, 51, of Waterville, passed away on August 6, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, with her loving family at her side. Wendy was born on October 25, 1959. She was predeceased by her parents, William, Sr., and Damaris Cowles Deking; a brother, Willis Deking; a sister, Judy Piechowicz; and one nephew. She is survived by her husband, Leslie Pratt; three children and their spouses, Breann and Ashley Kampf, Andrew, Jr., and Heather Kampf, and Kayla and James Holmes; her six grandchildren, Andrew, Dakota, Jaida and Jessy Kampf, and Haylee and James Holmes; a sister, Phyllis Shepard; a brother and spouse, William, Jr., and Dale Deking; a sister and brother-in-law, June Deking and Jim Piechowicz; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Terry and Fran Roberts. The funeral will be on Tuesday at 1:30 PM at the Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home, 365 W. Main St., West Winfield. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Oriskany Falls. Even though we didn't keep in touch very often, I not only lost a cousin, I lost a dear friend! I will always cherish the memories of us growing up together,hanging out at the old firehouse and the legion dances! Rest in peace Mabel! I'll see you again!

Dear pratts, holmes, kampf fam
Over the past few years we have become closer. It saddens me to have to of lost another wonderfull person, so close to the lost of her sister. I love you all so much. God has a new addition to his kingdom and wendy will forever be looking down on us and be in our hearts.
