Dawn Crosby Memoriam

DAWN GEORGE CROSBY

12/18/1940 - 9/29/2013

Born in Wilmington, Delaware to Oscar and Grace George, Dawn Crosby was at home in New York City, Santa Barbara, California, where she earned her B.A. from Antioch University, and Salem, Massachusetts, before returning home to Wilmington, where she ran The Employment Network for many years. An artist in every way, from her collages and writing to designing resumes and creating her famous blush spaghetti sauce, Dawn is survived by her son, Warren Jay Crosby of Wilmington and the many folk who were touched by her wit, her laughter, and her ever-willing help.

Dawn was such a lovely person. I appreciated her intelligence, humor, and unconventional outlook on life. You will be missed Dawn.

Dawn prepared all of my resumes and did a wonderful job. She had a way of entertaining people. So much talent in one person . A really unique individual who should have probably been in show business. God rest your soul.
