Domenico Angelo Tambone

Domenico A. Tambone, 87, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022 in Williamsburg, VA. He was preceded by his wife, Mildred Diana Tambone. He was self-employed and owned several beautician-barber shops throughout New Jersey. A huge NY Yankee's fan, he had the pleasure of some of the players coming to his shops. Domenico also loved listening to the great Frank Sinatra. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was also in the Honor Guard. Domenico was also a member of the Lion's Club, CIAO Italian Club and St. Bede Catholic Church. He is survived by his sons, Douglas Tambone (fiancé, Renee Lajoie), Frank Tambone (Angela), and Dominick Tambone; daughters, Diane Marie Burns and Lauren Silva (Ken); grandchildren, Nick Burns, Christiana Tambone and Tina Fonville; and great grandchildren, Ryder, Carlee Ray, Hayden, Lucas and Alexandra. Visitation will be Thursday, March 17 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd, Williamsburg. There will be a Funeral Mass on Friday, March 18 beginning at 1:00pm at St. Bede Catholic Church, 3686 Ironbound Rd., Williamsburg, VA.
