Douglas Eugene Norton

LANEXA - Doug Norton departed this temporary life on October 10, 2015 to eternally live with Jesus Christ, his Savior. Doug is survived by his son, Sean (daughter-in-law Lindsay, granddaughters Elizabeth and Madison), his son Zack (daughter-in-law Keahilani, grandson Aiden and granddaughter Keahilani), his daughter Sabrina, and his daughter Tiffany. Doug is also survived my his mother Betty Prosoco and his brother Jerry Norton, both of Williamsburg. Doug faithfully served his church family at Calvary Chapel Williamsburg, pouring his heart and giftings into the Childrens Ministry each week. Although he will be greatly missed, those who knew him well are confident that he now dwells in the presence of Jesus. Doug's enduring faith in Christ and ever-present humility inspired and encouraged all who knew him. His never-fading witness of Christ proclaims even now that he has personally received God's welcome into the Kingdom, stating, "Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord" (Matt 25:21). A memorial service will be held to honor Doug's life on Sunday, October 18 at Williamsburg Community Chapel at 3 pm.
