Fred, because of his demeanor and mannerisms, was instrumental in deepening my faith walk. When I worked for AGI, Fred and I once spent almost a week together working an airport trade show in Nashville. We not only shared a room, we also shared many meals and conversations about each other´s lives. After that trip Fred always called me Philippi, a name I wore with honor. The world is a lesser place with his absence.
