Frederick H. Jakobs Obituary
He was the second-born identical twin son of Helen and Charles Jakobs,
Mr. Jakobs was a veteran of the Army and studied engineering at C.W. Post University in Westbury, N.Y. He also served as a Human Resources executive in various industries, beginning with Long Island Lighting Co. He concluded his professional career as founder and CEO of Jakobs & Associates, an international consulting firm specializing in strategic Human Resources management programs.
He was a member of King of Glory Lutheran Church. Although he had many varied interests, his passion was facilitating adult Bible study groups on Christianity.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Nancy Jakobs; and his son, Frederick Scott Jakobs of California. His twin brother, Roger, died in April 2011.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 15, at King of Glory Lutheran Church. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to King of Glory Lutheran Church Endowment Fund, 4897 Longhill Rd., Williamsburg VA 23188.

I wish I could be with all of you tomorrow to say goodbye to Fred. I have never enjoyed or missed anyone's Bible study as much as the class that he taught. Nancy, you and Fred were a great couple! Love and peace my friend.

I had the pleasure to know Mr.Jacobs in the capacity as his nurse but most importantly a friend.Mr.Jacobs taught me alot of things such as compassion and standing strong in your beliefs.So in closing I salute you sir.Our Lord and Savior truly has another angel by his side.To the family I send my condolences.

Mr Jacobs was a client of mine and even though I didn't know him that long,he taught me a great deal in terms of compassion being strong in your decision making.But in short just doing the right thing.So sir I salute you because our Lord and Savior has just received another angel.To the family I send my sympathy.
