Jean Brice Clayton

Jean Brice Clayton of Williamsburg, VA, and formerly of Newport News, VA and Naples, FL, died on Sunday, May 30, 2021, at the age of 88 after a brief illness. She was born in Holdenville, OK, to the late Albert Edward Brice and Edna Melinda Oldham on November 4, 1932. Jean's immediate survivors include her three daughters, Kay Clayton Cooper of Ellicott City, MD, Gina Rena Clayton of Williamsburg, VA, and Jennifer Clayton Hare of Seaford, VA; five grandchildren, Wyatt Clayton Cooper (Lyndey Brock) of Chicago, IL, Lynne Bradshaw Cooper of Baltimore, MD, Sara Cooper Anderson (Jake Anderson) of Manassas, VA, Julia Jean Hare of Winchester, VA, and Kelsey Jill Hare of Seaford, VA. She is also survived by her sons-in-law, Jonathan Wyatt Cooper and Kevin William Hare. Visitation will take place on Friday, June 11, from 5 - 7 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, where a memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 12, at 10 a.m. The service will be livestreamed.
