Robert Zuckerberg Obituary
Bob served six years in the Army, including a tour in Korea, and attained the rank of Second Lieutenant. A 36-year career in marketing with IBM afforded him extensive world travel opportunities, including a most enjoyable three-year assignment in London with his family.
Bob was an avid reader, especially of history and military events. His love of history became a greater joy when he and Chris retired from Wilton, Conn., to Williamsburg in 1997. During his 14 years in Virginia, Bob delighted in conducting tours of Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown, happy to share his love of 17th and 18th-century history with visitors to the area.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bede Catholic Church in Williamsburg on Monday, Oct. 24 at 11 a.m., with interment following on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 8 Aa.m. in the St. Bede Columbarium. Memorial offerings may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 200 Connecticut Avenue, Suite 5H, Norwalk, CT 06854, or to St. Bede Catholic Church, P.O. Box 5400, Williamsburg, VA 23188.
