It was an honor to be part of her life. Though I was there to provide care, I was the one who received so much, in her kindness, her resilience, and the quiet wisdom she shared without even trying. It was a true privilege to spend time with Mrs. Cortez. She had a beautiful way of bringing light into a room, with her quick wit, her kind heart, and that unmistakable sense of humor that always made me smile. You could always feel how much love she carried. She was always kind to me, always gracious, and always herself. I’m grateful for the time I got to spend with her. Her memory will stay with me, not just for the laughs we shared, but for the warmth and sincerity she so naturally gave. May she rest peacefully, surrounded by all the light and love she gave in her lifetime.
