Cleofas is preceded in death by parents; daughter: Shirley Perkins; siblings: James C. Perkins "Jimmy", Mary Ann P. Cantu "Anita", Edward Olivarez "Lalo", Lupe Olivarez; godson: Flumencio Hernandez "Flu".
He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory, his loving wife, Dora Rangel Perkins; son, Rolando Perkins; daughters, Carol P. Whitmire (Lee), Phoebe R. Perkins and Ruby R. Perkins (Guadalupe Saldivar); sister Emilly Calderas (Julian); grandchildren, Jon A. Perkins Sr., Erica Perkins, Brandon Perkins, Isaiah M. P. Mata, Brianna C. Perkins, Hana S. P. Najera, Cesar P. Garcia, Cort G. P. Whitmire, Megan R. Whitmire, Aerin P. Saldivar and Lexi P. Saldivar; great grandchildren, Jon A. Perkins Jr., Alicia Padron, Marco P. Ayala and Zarco P. Ayala; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, from 1:00pm until 9:00pm with prayer service of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00pm at Trinity Funeral Chapel of the Holy Spirit.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 10:00am at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Las Rusias Cemetery in Las Rusias, Texas.

Rest in Pease my comrad. I met Perkins 1984 at the Harlingen Fire Department. I help him on Unit. He told me at the time to apply for mantenice. Well in time I was the sentence man. He will never be forgotten
