Kennedale, Texas - Danna Mary Reynolds Greaham, KENNEDALE, TEXAS-- Danna Mary Reynolds Greaham passed away unexpectedly at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center on Monday, June 17, 2024.

Danna was born on September 20, 1952, in Harlingen, TX to Floyd Fergus Reynolds and Mary Kinslow Reynolds. She was raised in La Feria, TX and attended La Feria High School. She graduated from Pan American University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in nursing and obtained her registered nurse's license. She worked as an OB/GYN nurse at Dolly Vinsant Hospital in San Benito. Later as a discharge planning nurse at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. She helped in the family business, Lloyd Betts Interiors, Inc. She then went back to work as a school nurse for La Feria ISD for 2 years before retiring.

Danna was especially known for her love for music. She had a passion for music playing instruments such as the clarinet, oboe, organ, and piano. She attended and played many weddings, funerals, and countless Sunday morning services at the First United Methodist Church of La Feria. When she wasn't playing the piano/organ, you could hear her signing in the church choir. She was an old soul who loved movies such as The Sound of Music, Titanic, and Dirty Dancing just to name a few. She also enjoyed TV shows such as The Little House on the Prairie, The Andy Griffith Show, The Carol Burnett Show, and Big Bang Theory. She had a borderline obsession with The Dr. Phil Show and always had an open ear for JFK conspiracy theories.

She enjoyed traveling with her husband to Nashville, Las Vegas, Destin, and other destinations a compass would lead her to. Dancing and listening to live music were a pastime she and Donnie frequented. Her greatest role was being a mother to Erin and loving grandmother to Ashley.

She is survived by her loving husband, Donnie Greaham of Leedey, OK; son, Erin F. Betts (Jacquelyn Z) of La Feria, TX; sister, Alison Reynolds of La Feria, TX; Lloyd Betts (father of Erin) of La Feria, TX; step-children, Kari Harris (Chris) of Osage, OK and Darin Greaham (Cheryl) of Duncanville, TX; Grandchildren Ashley Corina Betts of La Feria, TX; Morgan Harris, Weston Harris, and Justin Harris of Osage, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Fredrick J. Reynolds, and sister, Melanie Pemelton.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Heavenly Grace funeral home in La Feria. A celebration of Danna's life will be at the funeral home at 9:00 AM, Thursday, June 27, 2024. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria.
